»sonumaxx-NX« with chinrest receiver is the successor model to the previous corresponding sonumaxx-2.4 set. The new »sonumaxx-NX« offers significantly better quality features than its predecessor. Due to the use of a more recent technical basis, »sonumaxx-NX« is not compatible with sonumaxx-2.4 components.

Regarding TV listening systems in its class, »sonumaxx-2.4« sets new quality markers.

Acoustic or inductive sound

TV hearing systems from the »sonumaxx« range are available with two different receiver models:

a) »sonumaxx-NX« with chinrest receiver
b) »sonumaxx-2.4« with the compact pocket receiver

The latter in particular allows a clear increase in flexibility in the choice of hearing components - including inductive hearing for wearers of hearing aids or CI systems.

With an adjustable volume of up to 120 dB, »sonumaxx« offers balanced and clear sound even in the higher amplification range.

The 2.4 GHz digital transmission between transmitter and receiver is remarkably stable, secure and resistant to interference.

Transmitter »sonumaxx-NX« and »sonumaxx-2.4«

All the connection leads necessary for connecting the transmitter to an audio source – like a TV or any other sound system – are included, such as an optical TOSLINK cable.

The transmitter serves as storage and docking station, at the same time recharging the receiver's battery. A fully charged battery will last 6 to 8 hours, depending on the set volume. Two batteries are included, so these can be used and recharged alternatingly.

A button on the front of the »sonumaxx-NX«-transmitter serves to select one of three sound profile presets, so the user can choose which one suits him best. 

Switch to call amplifier if required

The housings for the chinrest receiver and the pocket receiver and their operating elements are identical. A particularly convenient feature of the »sonumaxx« receivers is the ability to switch from receiving television sound to communication at the touch of a button. An integrated microphone then picks up the sounds of the surroundings and »sonumaxx-NX« amplifies them.

The stethoscope receiver

The earpiece of the »sonumaxx-NX« in stethoscope design is comfortable to wear without causing unpleasant pressure on the ears. The cosy, replaceable ear pads made of soft silicone also contribute to this.

The pocket receiver 

The »sonumaxx-2.4« pocket receiver offers more flexibility and individuality. It allows the connection of all commercially available hearing components, such as headphones, earphones or headsets.
